Karen Postles -  Chairperson / Treasurer and General Bossy boots.

I am extremely proud to say I am Aimee's mum. I am a civil servant with over 20 years' experience.

Losing Aimee so suddenly continues to be an extremely traumatic experience.  The loss of a child at any age is the hardest experience that no parent should endure.

Aimee is with us in everything we do as a charity. The name The Feelgood Foundation comes from Aimee's small inspirational clothing company. Many of the elements to The Feelgood Foundation charity are based on Aimee's likes and philosophy of life.

Aimee is loved by so many people. Her quirkiness, unique style, creativity, caring nature and resilience is what everyone remembers.

I am proud that we as a group of family and friends have managed to set up The Feelgood Foundation to raise funds to help other sufferers and the medical profession to find answers to the questions will come to fruition.

My dream is that we will make a difference somehow.

I will be forever grateful to everyone that has and continues to donate funds/ time and items to help us reach our goal.

I will spend the rest of my days working to raise funds for medical research in our journey to reach the mission of The Feelgood Foundation (for Ankylosing Spondylitis research).

Ellis Evans - Social Media Executive and Trustee

Hello My name is Ellis, I was Aimee's partner for over  7 years.

Neither of us realised how  the condition would affect us or what it can do to the sufferer.

The purpose of the charity is to hopefully aid others or at least highlight this condition.

I would not want anyone to go through the same pain/ anguish as Aimee, myself or her family have and still are.

Aimee's bright attitude, positive energy  and independance  meant caring for her was not difficult.

I like to think that Aimee enjoyed her life with me. We agreed to go on trips and try different food, drinks and have fun!

I look back now and think if you would have told me we would have created a charity in her name, I would have said it was impossible.

Seeing donations, purchases and the many sponsors that have contributed to the cause has truly touched my heart.

Hopefully we can help others with the same or similar conditions.

Lesley Pratt - Fundraising Executive  and Trustee

As Aimee's Auntie I am privileged to be involved with setting up and to continue working as a trustee of the charity.

This charity has helped me deal with  the devastating grief of losing my beautiful, kind, thoughtful and generous niece..

Our goal is to raise money for research into the rare complication of Ankylosing Spondylitis and why it attacked Aimee's heart.

Ultimately our aim is to ensure no one will lose their life to this condition.

Emma Bubb - Fundraising, Social Media Executive and

Trustee

My name is Emma and I am proud and lucky to call Aimee a best friend.

You never really expect the worst to actually happen... well I didn't not at 32 anyway.

The day Aimee passed away broke my heart. Just the night before we were planning our next adventure for when Aimee was discharged... unfortunately she never came out. Instead I find myself writing a bio on this website for our charity set up in memory of her.

Aimee was always so honest and

thoughtful and always tried to keep her spirits high, even on days when she felt particularly ill. She always put others first. Which is another reason why myself and the other trustees are so dedicated to ensuring we do much as we can for The Feelgood Foundation.

I want to honour Aimee's caring nature by helping anyone suffering with A.S. where possible,

If I could help just one person I would feel we were successful. I know Aimee wouldn't stop until her intentions were met, no matter how hard it was. So neither will I.
